WHAT IS SUMMER CSA

Get fresh, locally grown produce delivered straight to your door with Snovalley Gardens CSA Farm in Redmond, WA. Our sustainable farming practices ensure delicious, healthy produce for your family. Join now and support a local small family farm while discovering new flavours each week. You will get to experience how the seasons change right trough the vegetables that come in your box of fresh vegetables currently in season at the farm, harvested the same day to ensure absolute freshness of our product. With our Summer CSA, you will get vegetables once a week for 16 weeks starting with the second week of June 2023 and will end last week of September 2023.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE SUMMER SEASON

Each week we will strive to harvest and include 10-15 vegetables and herbs. We want you to have the ability and get exactly what you want every week throughout the summer. In June veggie bags will have abundance of spring crops while summer crops are ripening up and getting ready for harvest. July we plan to be in full swing with summer crops and start to harvest the first of the delicious heirloom tomatoes in the greenhouse. It’s an exciting time at the farm. It’s that time of abundance when we as farmers enjoy all the fruits of our labor all at once. August is when those crops like peppers that take their sweet time to grow all summer start to ripen up. While in September we start to see winter squash and pumpkins start to develop their true colours.

Salad Mix, Salad heads, Arugula, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrots, Spinach, Spring onions, Heirloom Tomato, Cucumbers, Peppers, Sweet and Hot, Snap Peas, Baby Potatoes, Snow Peas, Green Beans, Golden Wax Beans, Purple Beans, Italian Beans, Bok choy, Kale, Rainbow Chard, Daikon, Radish, Turnip, Beet, Fennel, Celery, Zucchini, Squash, Pumpkin, Corn, Onion, Shallots, Garlic, Leeks, Cabbage, Kohlrabi, Edible flowers, Basil, Thyme,Mint,Sage, Rosemary, Parsley, Cilantro.
