WHAT IS SUMMER CSA

Experience the best of the season with Snovalley Gardens’ Summer CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) in Redmond, WA. Enjoy fresh, locally grown, and sustainably harvested produce delivered right to your door. By joining our CSA, you’ll be supporting a small family farm while discovering new flavours each week, all grown with care and commitment to the environment.

Our CSA program offers a unique way to enjoy the changing seasons through fresh, seasonal vegetables harvested the same day they’re packed for delivery. Starting in mid-June and running through the end of September, you’ll receive a weekly bag of produce, giving you a taste of the farm’s harvest as it evolves throughout the summer months.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE SUMMER SEASON

Our Summer CSA delivers 8-10 different vegetable and herb varieties each week, chosen to reflect the best of what’s in season on the farm. Here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

– June: The season kicks off with an abundance of spring crops—think tender greens, radishes, and early-season herbs—while we prepare for the arrival of summer crops.

– July: The farm enters full swing, with summer favourites like zucchini, cucumbers, and the first heirloom tomatoes from our greenhouse making their debut.

– August: This is the height of summer abundance! Crops like peppers and eggplants, which take longer to mature, will start ripening and filling your bag with vibrant color and .

– September: As we wind down the season, the cooler weather ushers in hearty winter squash, pumpkins, and other autumnal delights, signalling the change of the seasons.
